Just recently I started including impressionist great, Claude Monet to the list of all time great painters I've incorporated into my long-term series called "Study the Greats." Here are the first three installments that include works by Monet.
'Hauling a Boat Ashore, Honfleur' was created in 1864 by Claude Monet in Impressionism style. I tried to capture the essence of this painting in my little study.
Water Lilies is a series of approximately 250 oil paintings by French Impressionist Claude Monet (1840–1926). The paintings depict his flower garden at his home. I tried to sketch this study in ballpoint pen,
'Fishing Boats, Calm Sea' was created in 1868 by Claude Monet in Impressionism style. I read somewhere that he may have finished this painting off in his studio. I tried to capture the essence of this painting in my studio based study in oil paints.
Hope you enjoy!
