The Dutot Museum 2023 Plein Air festival is about to begin. I'm excited to see what this year brings.

The first time I participated in this event in 2021 was my first Plein Air event experience. Taking the leap into the world of Plein Air painting was intimidating but it was worth it! I learned so much during the course of the event. The people who run the event and all the participants are all very collegial, very helpful and welcoming to new participants.

Currently my list of potential paintings includes ten to twelve iconic scenes throughout the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and Cherry Valley.

Scenes of Delaware Water Gap by 30+ plein air artrists will be on display and will be auctioned on Saturday, July 29th. Art, music, refreshments will be available. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for this wonderful, local museum.
