Hope you are well. As you might expect, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is well-equipped to deal with delivering world class treatment even during a pandemic. However, they are working to grow their #PPE stockpile to ensure that all patients and visitors have proper protection. It is projected to be a long-term need.
In April I pledged to use 100% of all art sale proceeds through the end of 2020 to purchase face masks for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia through the The LIV Foundation #COVID Response Fund. Since then several commission requests have come in and we have raised just over $2,000, delivered 137 homemade masks (donated by mask makers) and have another 100 masks in queue ready for delivery. Additionally, I just started a Birthday Fundraiser and another $225 in donations and counting! We are on pace to get well over 1,000 masks to CHOP and I have a personal goal of growing this to over 2,020 masks by the end of the year 2020.
We have a long list of friends and family that we care deeply for who undergo treatment at CHOP or work there. This is one of a handful of ways we feel we can help. If you are interested in helping you can do so in one of three ways:
Make a donation to my Facebook Birthday Fundraiser: Click Here
Contact me if you wish to donate homemade masks in-kind at firstname.lastname@example.org; or
If you are interested in purchasing a painting or commissioning a custom painting reach out to me at email@example.com as well.
Here are some of my more recent paintings. All of these and more are presently available for sale.
Thank you for taking the time. Have a great day & be well, Tom
